While the views are spectacular, summer visitor traffic and environmental practices have always had real and immediate impacts on the area.

Caring for the environment was something that was taught early and often, leading me to find my love for environmentally focused activities through school rain gardens and community cleanup events like “Trash Attack!”, which directly aided in the protection of wildlife and kept massive amounts of pollution out of our tides and marshes.

Environments are grown and protected through accountability and our actions, and, wherever I go, I hope to continue to use my passions to serve my community.
